Paul & Joe Beauté is a brand you might not be familiar with; being quite new to Canada and currently only available at select Shoppers Drug Mart locations. I have here their Moisturizing Fluid Foundation in shade 102 (Nude). There seem to be only 3 shades currently available here, 102 (Nude), 103 (Clear), and 201 (Fresh).
The brand was originally launched in 1995 as a menswear company and a year later, womenswear. In 2002, founder Sophie Mechaly launched the Beaute line, which includes skincare items, cosmetics, and fragrances. The whole idea behind the Paul & Joe Beaute line is to provide women with vanity-worthy products in fun and gorgeous packaging, but that also work to give luminous skin.

My first impressions of this foundation was that the orange scent was lovely of course, and the texture is light, and a bit runny. It comes with a pump (yay), and I typically need about 1 1/2-2 pumps. The foundation instantly blurred my imperfections and made my skin look great, considering how light the coverage was. I used my Sigma F80 Brush, but the coverage was not enough to go without a concealer (for me, at least), so I do end up using a concealer on top of this for the final look below.
I would recommend using a mattifying moisturizer, or a light moisturizer underneath this. I also wouldn't recommend this for oily skin. You might have to blot every few hours and possibly re-apply. I got quite oily in my t-zone.
It is definitely a 'light-medium coverage' foundation and you will not have much success building up this foundation so no need for a second layer. Use concealer instead, if necessary. The finish is very natural and dewy, great for summer. Personally, I need to use a mattifying/setting powder on top of this. With a powder, it doesn't transfer so super easily after a few hours, and I can go a bit longer without blotting.
Final look with Maybelline Master Conceal Concealer, Benefit Hoola and NYX Sunny Bronzers, and Covergirl Lipstick.
In regards to the shade 102 (Nude), I am typically a NC20 after using my St. Tropez Self Tanning Mousse and the colour matches me well on days when I've applied the self-tanner recently.
Overall, the foundation did stay on longer than I expected and just needed touching up in my problem areas (t-zone!!). It is ideal for non-oily skin, and those with minimal imperfections or willing to use a concealer alongside the foundation. It is a light foundation and not intended to be built up or layered on. I would not rely on it to cover redness for very long. I am a fan of the foundation when applied correctly but wish it lasted longer without showcasing my oiliness so quickly! It would definitely be nice to see a matte or longer lasting version of the Moisturizing Fluid Foundation in the future.
